Blinded by Light

“I can’t see anything!” stated Jax, swinging his sword into fresh air.

“You’re not the only one,” replied Fraevon. “But I think it has somehow put an end to our current foes.”

“If my sister is the source of this destructive light, then her powers have grown beyond even my own.”

Three of the companions had withdrawn their weapons and tried grouping together by calling out to one another. Melvin joined the calls fearing he may be left behind, he too having been blinded by the brilliant white light. There was one though, that continued carving his axe through fresh air, cursing as he did so,

“If that cleric has stollen all these kills and along with it my fun, she better make up for it with a hearty breakfast, lunch and supper.”
