I saw her,
Serene,
Magestic,
Lifing the sight to my eye,
She turned,
Looked,
Acknowledged,
And hung her head accepting her fate,
Guilt consumed me,
Fingers trembled,
She waited,
Then looked back at me when the bullet didn’t come,
I looked at her,
Through my own eyes,
Exquisite,
Ethereal,
For a moment we connected,
Then with a nod she was gone.

god Chris. I adore your writings. I could read you every day of my life, and on the days you weren’t inspired to write, I’d go back and re-read more just to have another piece of you that day. This is beautiful.

That is really lovely of you to say. I only write that which pops into my head though. But thank you.

Well regardless, I enjoy them and I appreciate you sharing with the world those thoughts.

As I yours. I find myself pouring into your words and losing myself for a short while whilst contemplating your mind.

Ha! That perfectly articulates how I feel when I read your words. Comments included. I find myself having to read again and again because each time I gain something new. This is how it should be.
I have a feeling if we sat down and had tea together we’d have a lot to talk about…. or maybe we’d just stare at each other LOL. Either way… ..
