The Devil’s Path

I see the world through different eyes,
Clouded thoughts from all your lies,
Why was the truth so hard to tell?
Instead you sent my soul to hell.

So now I walk the devil’s path,
But I shall have the final laugh,
I’ll haunt your soul with ghoulish glee,
For all the pain you did to me.

And whilst you think that I am beat,
I’ll show to you revenge so sweet,
For I am not the man that you once knew,
Been born again to something new.

It is true your lies still haunt me so,
And on my path I’ve still far to go,
But never will you keep me down,
For the devil’s smile has replaced my frown.
