The Moon

She calls to me,
Her false light in the darkness,
Another offered vision,
A thought, a feeling,
My dreams have become lucid,
And this temptress teases me,
Betows upon me an illusion,
Of a beauty gazing across eternity,
Her mind full of hopes and dreams,
Yet searching and wondering,
I ponder what trickery she sees,
As her eyes too focus on the moon.

  1. Deep and melancholic. Your writing continues to amaze me with its hues and shades and moods. Remain your flow of words is easy, spontaneous and honest, straight from the heart.
    Have a wonderful Sunday, Chris!
Here I am mourning the loss of my brother Jan. He passed yesterday morning in France.
