The battle was pointless. There would be no winners, only innocent casualties of a conflict that stripped bare truths that had previously been push aside for the sake of compromise.
How quickly they resurface through words of malice, with the sole intent to hurt and deflect incoming truths from others. And they would not be forgotten. These would be the ammunition to be expended in the opening salvos of future battles. The foundation to which each opposing force will feel justifiably right.
The irony was, both sides were right. That is the cancer that is compromise. It eats away at the soul until there is no compromise left. That’s when the battles begin.

I only check my wordpress newsfeed when I post something on my blog i.e once a month. For some reason I always end up lurking over your blog and leaving a comment seems like an obligation. Pleasure is all mine.

This must mean there is a post of yours I have not read. I’m flattered that you would lurk upon my words, for I am guilty of doing likewise upon your own. The pleasure is most definitely mine β€
