Insecurities

I call you up but you’re never there to answer,
Drop you a text but you never text me back,
My mind goes racing to exactly what you’re doing,
If you’re alone or there’s someone else you’re screwing.

God knows it’s so hard to be so trusting,
When your hearts been broke and there’s just no way of knowing,
Will you be faithful or just another who will hurt me,
I’m on bended knees will someone please listen to my plea.

You come home and your poker face is on,
I stay silent for fear of doing wrong,
And though those insecurities are buzzing through me head,
I could kick myself for all those things I never said.
