Storm

The unmistakable sound,

Tiny droplets splattering the window,

Darkness looms where sunlight should,

Nature’s breath exhales strongly,

As mighty trees bend to her whim,

Then the sky flashing with a bright light,

I count 1 2 3 4,

A rumble as if the gods themselves argued,

In seeminhly now time at all,

The rain that once fell so lazily,

Now bounces hard as if wanting to return to the clouds they came,

Another flash illuminates the sky,

1 2 3 before the gods fury grows louder,

I watch in ex cited fascination,

As the storm roll closer.

  1. You are the sun, the stars, the moon, and the entire universe….the deity of a tarnished soul. You’re writing is deeply felt within the darkest corners of my soul.

    Always know this. ❤︎

I have to leave for a few weeks. I just found out that I have to be in Maine for a couple of months on a work assignment. I most likely will not have time to blog in the coming few weeks.

    Take real good care, mister.
