I stood upon a windy hill
With blossom in my hair
That which blows upon the summer breeze
About me everywhere
Petals from the Cherry Tree
They’re fragrant pink and white
The way they dance on Nature’s breath
Is such a lovely sight
Now gazing at its near naked limbs
The tree looks rather bare
And it cuts a rather solemn sight
But I’m awfully glad it’s there

The blossoms will return. I’m sure of it.
