The Moon called
And Darkness came
Soon Stars shone
Twas night again
A Star got bored
So went and moved
A fatal choice
Or so it proved
It’s faintest tail
Seen then gone
Nothing left
Of where it shone
Everything a place
And in order fall
Follow Night’s cycle
When the Moon calls

Some may see it as the vestiges of life before fading to demise. Me, I see it as a “Fuck this, I’ve had enough sitting around here, I’m off. Adios Amigos!”

I never thought of it that way.
On my next nighttime adventure, I shall wish the next shooting star a fond farewell.

Too much sorrow in the world already. A little imagination and we can create happy stories.

Yes. Why does the falling of a star need to feel sad, anyway? It doesn’t. It could be like, “Yo, I’m audi! Peace out, moonpie! mUah! zzzziiippppppp! 😊
