I have argued with myself,
About only being in love with the idea,
Of being in love with you.
That I fantasise some idealistic scenario,
Of you as the epitome of a perfect lover,
Sex drenched in unrivalled passion and lust.
But ideas are but fleeting moments,
As the mind wanders to bigger and better.
And yet you’re forever in my thoughts,
You are my daydreams and night time fantasies,
And I know I shall love you now until forever.
